BOCES High School Scholarship Program

A scholarship will be awarded to any school that meets the following requirements during the 2009-2010 school year:

• Hosts at least 2 blood drives and achieves a 25% overall participation rate - $200
• Hosts 3 blood drives and achieves a 25% overall participation rate - $300
• Hosts 4 blood drives and achieves a 25% overall participation rate - $400

(Participation rate is calculated by dividing the total number of donations for all of your blood drives by the age-eligible student population of your school)

The buck doesn't stop there! If your school meets the minimum scholarship requirements and out performs the other BOCES schools with similar populations, your school will be awarded an additional $1000 in scholarship money!

If your school is located within the American Red Cross New York-Penn Blood Services Region then you are eligible to participate in the High School Challenge scholarship program!
